Job summary

Kyowa Kirin International plc. in Marlow is seeking an IT Security Engineer to protect and optimise our enterprise network, data centre and cloud environments. This hands-on role involves implementing security controls, monitoring threats, and collaborating with global teams to strengthen security standards.

You will respond to incidents and help drive resilience across our IT infrastructure. You should have 3-5 years in security/infra engineering, experience with firewalls and cloud platforms,

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Security Engineering, Network Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, networking, IDS/IPS and vulnerability management.
• Experience securing enterprise infrastructure and virtualised environments.
• Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise security controls across network and cloud environments.
• Manage and improve firewall, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management solutions.
• Identify security weaknesses and drive remediation activities.
• Support incident response and security investigations.
• Improve infrastructure logging, monitoring and threat detection capabilities.
• Partner with global teams to strengthen security standards and best practices.
