Job summary

IT Talent Solutions is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer / Security to support, maintain and enhance secure IT infrastructure environments. This role blends project delivery, infrastructure improvement, cyber security, and 3rd line support to keep systems secure, resilient and compliant.

You will work across on-prem and cloud platforms, implement hardening, patching and incident response, and contribute to security upgrades.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in infrastructure, cybersecurity or similar (including DevSecOps).
• Experience securing cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management, MFA, SSO and privileged access controls.
• Experience with security tools including SIEM, EDR and vulnerability management platforms.
• Linux administration, system hardening and patch management experience.
• Experience investigating and responding to security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain infrastructure services to agreed availability, performance and security standards.
• Implement system hardening, patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Manage access controls, privileged accounts and least-privilege practices.
• Support endpoint, server and cloud security technologies.
• Monitor security events, logging and compliance across the infrastructure estate.
• Investigate and resolve security incidents and infrastructure issues.
• Support backup, disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
• Participate in infrastructure projects, migrations and technology upgrades.
• Contribute to incident response activities and continuous security improvement.
