Job summary

Shark Club UK is seeking a professional Doorman Security to join our venue team. You will manage entry points, deter disorder, and maintain a welcoming, safe environment for guests and staff while upholding the club's standards.

The role requires an SIA Door Supervisor licence, at least two years’ experience in hospitality security, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Evening and weekend availability, smart appearance, and right to work in the UK are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid frontline SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in door supervision, pub, bar, club, event or hospitality security.
• Strong communication and conflict management skills.
• Remain calm, professional and confident under pressure.
• Good awareness of customer safety and venue security procedures.
• Reliable and punctual; able to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Smart appearance and professional attitude.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Manage queues and support crowd control inside and outside the venue.
• Refuse entry or remove individuals following company procedures and legal requirements.
• Respond calmly to incidents, emergencies, alarms or disturbances.
• Liaise with management, staff, emergency services and local authorities when required.
• Complete accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication during each shift.
• Help protect customers, staff, property and premises from damage or unauthorised access.
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.
