Job summary

Professional Security is recruiting SIA-licensed Door Supervisors for venues in Manchester. You will be the face of safety, ensuring security and guest experience in busy hospitality settings.

You will join a large team of security professionals, with weekly pay and clear progression paths. A valid SIA licence, strong communication, and flexibility for weekends/evenings are required.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and late-night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a visible and approachable presence at venue entrances and throughout premises.

• Managing incidents calmly and professionally while prioritising customer safety.
• Completing incident reports and documentation when required.
• Supporting emergency procedures and assisting with safe venue evacuations if necessary.

About the Role

As a Door Supervisor, you’re much more than someone standing on the door. You are the face of safety, the first impression customers receive, and a key part of creating a positive experience for everyone who visits the venue.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining a visible and approachable presence at venue entrances and throughout premises
• Engaging positively with customers while supporting venue staff
• Maintaining a professional appearance and conduct that reflects both the venue and Professional Security brand
• Working closely with venue management to ensure smooth operations during busy trading periods
• Identifying and addressing potential issues early to prevent escalation
• Enforcing venue policies including age verification, dress codes, and intoxication policies
• Managing incidents calmly and professionally while prioritising customer safety
• Completing incident reports and documentation when required
• Supporting emergency procedures and assisting with safe venue evacuations if necessary
