As a Security Coordinator, you will primarily support the Business Director and Business Manager with their respective contracts to improve compliance, reduce costs, identify efficiencies, encourage staff engagement, and enhance our offerings to the customer. The broader role involves coordinating and supporting the portfolio by providing robust administrative support to meet the business requirements. The Security Coordinator will liaise with other WJ Subject Matter Experts, departments, and clients as necessary. Key targets must be met by set deadlines. Work in a fast-paced environment is essential.

A typical day in the life as a Security Coordinator:

  • Prepare, coordinate, and attend meetings. Note-taking required.
  • Data analysis using Timegate and Wilson James Business Cloud.
  • Create and utilise a Project Planner, aligning it with the Schedule of Works.
  • Create and update various trackers.
  • Prepare presentations for senior management as needed.
  • Handle document control and preparation.
  • Organise and attend voice/video conference calls, telephone calls, and other enquiries.
  • Prioritise daily workload according to urgent requirements and deadlines.
  • Manage meetings, slide packs, and documentation.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous administration experience in a similar role.
  • Proven ability to use Microsoft Office suite (Project Planner, Excel, Word, Outlook) to collate and analyse data; produce charts and graphs; format documents; and proofread.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to take ownership of tasks.
  • Diplomatic, with the ability to engage and develop relationships with stakeholders.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, capable of prioritising workload, and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
