The Community Safety Coordinator supports the coordination of the Community Safety Team's work. The post holder is primarily responsible for administering a range of multi-agency meetings, including the statutory Safer Sutton Partnership Board. They also support the team’s communication with internal and external stakeholders, such as the Police, MOPAC, and enquiries from elected Members and the public.

The Community Safety Coordinator supports the Community Safety Team, also known as Safer Sutton Partnership, based at Sutton Police Station and the Civic Offices. The team is part of Sutton Children’s Services within the People Directorate and works closely with the Metropolitan Police and other partners to enhance safety for residents and visitors in the London Borough of Sutton.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in administrative support within a multi-agency setting, be well-organized, and demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, especially experience communicating with senior leaders and the public. Experience working with elected Members, Business World/Agresso, and Google Suite products is desirable.
