Job summary

Griffin Bank Ltd seeks an Engineer 1.5 to become the engineering voice of security, compliance and assurance. You will translate standards into practical controls, write production code, and work across engineering, security, risk and operations to strengthen Griffin’s security posture.

You will drive certifications, attestations and audit readiness, automate control checks, and contribute to resilience and disaster recovery planning as the team scales.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering background with production code delivery.
• Experience in security, compliance, risk or assurance in a technical environment.
• Familiarity with audits, certifications or attestations (SOX/SWIFT/ISO).
• Ability to automate controls and evidence collection via code.

Responsibilities

• Translate standards into practical engineering controls and deploy code.
• Own certifications and attestations, manage documentation.
• Lead audits and due diligence, drive findings to closure.
• Perform risk assessments and implement controls across release processes.
• Improve change management and post-incident review practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and auditors.
