Job summary

xAI is seeking an experienced Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Engineer to scale information security and regulatory programs for EU/UK markets. You will architect automated controls, integrate with CI/CD, and partner with engineering to embed compliance into design from the start.

The ideal candidate has extensive GRC, fintech/regulatory exposure, and hands-on experience with Compliance-as-Code and GRC platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience with EU/UK information security regulations (DORA, EU AI Act, NIS2).
• Strong track record in GRC engineering and audit readiness.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical controls and narratives.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate GRC program architectures for EU/UK markets.
• Lead risk assessments and regulatory reviews for new products and vendors.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve information security controls across environments.
