Job summary

QED Legal's client, a respected law firm, is seeking a Banking Litigation Solicitor in Newcastle to join a specialist team handling secured debt recovery and lender disputes. You will manage matters from instruction through to resolution, advise clients, draft court documentation, negotiate settlements and represent clients at hearings, while building exposure to institutional banking matters.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in litigation, dispute resolution or debt recovery.
• A good grounding in contentious work, strong drafting and ability to manage a busy caseload.

Responsibilities

• Handle matters from instruction through to resolution, advising clients and drafting court documentation.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients at hearings and settlement meetings.
• Manage secured debt recovery actions and lender disputes for major clients.
