Job summary

QED Legal is representing a Newcastle firm hiring a Dispute Resolution Solicitor with 1-3 PQE to handle a broad civil litigation caseload. The role offers exposure to commercial and residential disputes, with supervision from the Managing Director on more complex matters.

You will manage your own caseload, develop litigation strategy, draft pleadings, and attend court as needed, with scope to grow responsibilities as experience increases.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' PQE in Dispute Resolution / Civil Litigation.
• Strong drafting and technical foundations required.
• Experience handling a broad range of disputes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload across commercial and residential disputes.
• Advise clients, develop strategy, and draft pleadings and court documents.
• Research points of law and liaise with opponents and third parties.
• Attend court where appropriate and contribute to case progression.
