QED Legal's client, a well-established law firm in Newcastle, seeks a Solicitor to join its Banking Litigation team. The role focuses on secured debt recovery and lender disputes, with a broader caseload to maintain variety.

You will handle matters from instruction to resolution, advise clients, draft court documents, negotiate settlements and represent at hearings, while managing your own caseload and meeting financial targets.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 1–5 years' PQE in litigation.
• Experience in dispute resolution or debt recovery.
• Strong drafting and client advisory skills.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload and meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Handle matters from instruction through to resolution.
• Advise clients and draft court documentation.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients at hearings and settlement meetings.
• Manage own caseload and financial targets.
