Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc is seeking a Security Infrastructure Lead to join our Defence Aerospace business in Bristol. You will report directly to the Security Operations and SCIDA Manager (EMEA) and will deliver infrastructure security projects aligned with government standards.

You will act as the intelligent customer for physical security standards, develop and maintain procedures and policies, and manage relations with UK MOD, PSyA, NPSA and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Excellent working knowledge of UK security regulations and UK MoD security policies/procedures.
• Experience with National Protective Security Authority (NPSA) and PSyA.
• Experience across security audit and compliance.
• Understanding of construction project management processes (RIBA).
• Ability to work collaboratively across the enterprise with strong influencing and communication skills.
• DV clearance is required; SC clearance with no caveats at start, Rolls-Royce supports application for clearance.

Responsibilities

• Act as the authority and intelligent customer for physical security standards for facilities and sites.
• Lead in developing, implementing and maintaining physical security standards and related documents, procedures and policies.
• Maintain relationships with external organisations (PSyA, NPSA) and internal stakeholders to ensure compliant security arrangements and construction activities.
• Support the maintenance of the Security Plan and Security Risk Register in collaboration with Defence security teams.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Security Infrastructure Lead to join our Defence Aerospace business in Bristol. In this role, you will report directly to the Security Operations and SCIDA Manager (EMEA) and will be part of the team accountable for the delivery of our infrastructure projects, acting as the authority and intelligent customer for physical security policy, standards and documentation. With a resolute focus on both Health and Safety and Security, you will support the delivery of infrastructure which is compliant to UK MOD security policy and requirements, providing assurance these standards are met.

What you will be doing

• Act as the authority and intelligent customer for physical security standards Programme facilities and sites in accordance with the Government Functional Standard GovS 007.
• Lead in developing, implementing and maintaining the physical security standards and all associated documents, procedures and policies for compartments/facilities in accordance with programme security requirements.
• Maintain relationships with relevant external organisations, which include the UK MOD accreditation body (PSyA), National Protective Security Authority (NPSA) and internal stakeholders such as the Site Security, Group Property, Security Operations, Risk and Compliance, and principal contractors to demonstrate that security arrangements, infrastructure works, and construction activities are compliant, meet the required programme and accreditation standards and are approved by the relevant accreditation authorities.
• Support the maintenance of the programme and facility Security Plan and Security Risk Register, working collaboratively with the wider Defence security function.

Position qualifications

• Excellent working knowledge of UK security regulations, UK MoD Security policies/procedures, technical security systems and the principles of security management.
• Experience of physical security arrangements in compliance with National Protective Security Agency (NPSA) and especially working with PSyA.
• Experience across security audit and compliance.
• An understanding of construction project management processes (RIBA), project reporting and record keeping.
• Ability to work collaboratively across the enterprise with strong influencing and communication skills.
• This role will require you to hold a Developed Vetting (DV).
• To start, you will require a minimum-Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don't currently already have this in place. Please be aware that the priority will be given to employees identified as being at high risk.
