Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is collaborating with the Big Data Institute to develop a secure platform for large-scale health research and AI innovations in healthcare delivery. The Data and System Analyst will contribute to building and operating the Thames Valley and Surrey Secure Data Environment as a core part of the UK health research ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Masters-level qualification or a good undergraduate degree with relevant experience.
• Masters-level qualification with a strong data science or data engineering component.
• Experience of working with data representations in database or programming formats.
• Experience of delivering data, documentation, or reports to meet strong correctness, quality and provenance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate the secure data platform and SDE as part of OUH initiative.
• Communicate data design, semantics and usage in healthcare and health research.
• Collaborate with engineers, scientists, managers and governance specialists to advance research outcomes.
