Job summary

Greencore’s Spalding site is seeking a proactive Section Leader for the Deli Blue Days line. This permanent, site-based role runs days (06:00–18:00), leading a team to deliver on-time production targets and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production or section management role within the food manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge and experience of continuous improvement.
• Understanding of retailer expectations and how we meet them.
• Able to inspire and engage your team in a factory environment.

Responsibilities

• Walk the floor of the production area and manage start‑up procedures with correct staffing.
• Attend daily review meetings and team briefings.
• Challenge performance in area regarding quality, throughput, and crew size.
• Audit daily technical paperwork.
• Document handover for the oncoming shift and ensure packing area is clean and safe.
