Job summary

Greencore Spalding is seeking a Factory Manager to lead a fast-paced chilled food operation, accountable for delivering safety, quality and efficiency KPIs across the site. You will drive continuous improvement, using data-led decisions to optimise performance and engage a multi-disciplinary team.

As part of the site leadership, you will implement the Greencore Operating System, develop the leadership team, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships while ensuring food safety and customer

Qualifications

• Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering improvements in safety, quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe working environment, deploying H&S strategy and communicating outcomes.
• Lead quality, food safety, hygiene and housekeeping standards with audit verification.
• Translate manufacturing strategy into actionable operational plans and schedules.
• Set manning requirements, recruit talent and oversee training and performance.
• Use KPIs to drive improvement and cascade metrics across teams.
• Review plans to optimise resources and efficiency; support capital investment.
• Lead NPD feasibility and ensure successful product launches; engage stakeholders.
• Foster open communication and two-way dialogue across the site.
• Lead Top Loss and Kaizen activities; deploy Greencore Operating System.
