Job summary

Randstad CPE has a client seeking a Section Foreman to lead a major 3.5-square-mile heavy civils project near Peterhead. The role demands proactive leadership, safety focus, and hands-on supervision of Gangers, direct labour, and Subcontractors.

You will chair daily progress meetings, oversee Work Package Plans, QA with BIM Field 360, manage cost controls, and ensure zero-harm and timely delivery. 5+ years experience and CSCS/SMSTS/First Aid are essential.

• Extensive leadership of site teams and subcontractors.
• Strong emphasis on safety and zero-harm culture.
• Effective communication of safe systems of work and resource planning.

Responsibilities

• Providing expert supervision of the works and taking control of a team comprising Gangers, direct labour forces, and Subcontractors.
• Embodying the values of a leading international infrastructure group with a relentless focus on Zero Harm.
• Chairing daily short interval control meetings with site supervisors and input for Work Package Plans and Risk Assessments.
• Fostering a Right First Time culture within the supply chain, carrying out QA using BIM Field 360.
• Validating labour and plant records against project cost control procedures, and conducting weekly reviews of small tools and plant lists.
• Ensuring the workforce has the correct information regarding specifications and proactively identifying hazards to implement safe controls.
• Supporting the delivery of key sustainability activities and suggesting improvements for Temporary Works solutions.
