Job summary

Kier are seeking a Section Engineer to join our United Utilities Framework in the North West of England. You will ensure technical compliance of projects, interpret design specifications, and support delivery to safety, time, and quality standards.

You'll review drawings, monitor site progress through inspections and quality checks, and work with project managers and site teams to resolve technical issues. A Civil Engineering degree or equivalent and experience in people and project management

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Understanding of consents, logistics, and traffic management.
• Awareness of commercial processes and experience in people and project management.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing technical delivery and ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards
• Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents
• Monitoring site progress through inspections and quality checks
• Identifying and resolving technical issues in collaboration with project managers and site teams

Hours: 45 per week

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Section Engineer, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the technical compliance of projects. You'll work collaboratively with project teams to deliver work safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards, all whilst interpreting design specifications and maintaining adherence to industry regulations.

What will you be responsible for?
