Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Resolve technical problems at all levels on site.
• Carry out inspections per the Inspection and Test Plan in a timely manner.
• Produce survey information and red-lined drawings for As-built records.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated and in date per requirements.
• Ensure construction operations meet contract requirements and procedures.
• Provide clear information to site personnel to carry out duties.
• Supervise outputs and confirm environmental requirements are met.
• Ensure materials on site are suitable and stored per guidelines.
• Assist Site Management in updating KPIs, material reconciliation and progress reports.

A day in the life of a Murphy Section Engineer:

• Resolving technical problems at all levels.
• Carry out inspections in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plan in a timely manner.
• The production of survey information and red - lined drawings for the completion of the As-built records.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated, in date and suitable checked in accordance with company policies and the manufacturers' defined requirements.
• Ensure construction operations are carried out in accordance with the Contract requirements using the appropriate procedures.
• Ensure all site personnel have clear, accurate and appropriate information to carry out their duties.
• Supervises the outputs and confirms that the project environmental requirements are met.
• Ensure all materials on site are suitable, stored in line with manufacturer's recommendations current working practice, contract specification or project requirements.
• Assist the Site Management team to update KPIs, material reconciliation and progress reports.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified Civil Engineering or Similar
• Previous experience within a Section or Site Engineer role
• Experience on Construction or Civil Engineering projects.
• Experienced in surveying and setting out techniques
• Sound understanding of Quality, Safety, Health, Environmental and Sustainability project requirements
