Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a motivated Secondary Tutor to provide personalised one-on-one academic support in Anglesey. The role focuses on tailoring sessions to the learner’s level and learning style, fostering confidence and progression.

The ideal candidate has prior experience tutoring or teaching at the secondary level, strong subject knowledge, and excellent communication. DBS Update Service or willingness to obtain one is required, with right to work in the UK and two references.

Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching or tutoring secondary-aged learners.
• Strong subject knowledge.
• Experience delivering 1:1 support desirable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Organised, flexible and patient approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Two professional child-related references.
