TeacherActive is working with a mainstream secondary school in Grantham to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a long-term role. You will provide positive classroom support and help students engage across the secondary age range.

The successful candidate will support students with additional needs, work closely with teaching staff, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive learning environment. Immediate start and PAYE payroll are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people in education or a similar setting.
• Experience supporting students with additional needs.
• Patient and supportive approach.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students.
• Flexible and adaptable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide general classroom support across the secondary age range.
• Work closely with teaching and support staff to assist learning.
• Encourage engagement in lessons and create a positive, inclusive environment.
