TeacherActive is working with a mainstream secondary school in Grantham to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a long-term role. You will provide positive classroom support and help students engage across the secondary age range.

The successful candidate will support students with additional needs, work closely with teaching staff, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive learning environment. Immediate start and PAYE payroll are provided.

Salary: £95 - £110 per day

The school is looking for a committed Teaching Assistant who can provide positive classroom support and help students engage successfully with their education.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, providing general classroom support to students across the secondary age range. The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with teaching and support staff to assist students with their learning, encourage engagement in lessons and help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people within an education or similar setting
• Experience supporting students with additional needs
• A patient and supportive approach
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with students
• A flexible and adaptable attitude
