Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking Teaching Assistants in Retford, Nottinghamshire, to support students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (and occasionally KS5). Start date in September 2026, with roles based in mainstream secondary schools.

You will assist with learning, help create an inclusive environment and contribute to student progress across lessons. The successful candidate will have TA experience (preferably in secondary settings), SEND experience, and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant (preferred experience within Secondary School setting).
• Experience with SEND.
• Proactive attitude in the classroom.
