Prospero Teaching is seeking committed and supportive 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support local secondary schools in Monmouthshire.

Contract/Position Details

• Location: Monmouthshire
• Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Secondary
• Type of work: Carrying out professional duties, supporting groups and individuals, ensuring pupil safety and welfare, providing 1:1 care, ASD support, ASD trained
• Start Date: Immediate
• Rate of Pay: £93 per day, subject to assignment
• Hours: 08:30 – 16:00

Experience

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (not essential)
• Experience working with various SEND conditions
• Experience in inclusive classroom practice
• Understanding how to support teachers in the classroom
• Previous experience supporting learning with a range of strategies, both group and 1:1

Eligibility Requirements

• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application
• Two professional child-related references
