Job summary

Remedy Education is supporting a Greenwich-based secondary SEN school in their search for a dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistant. You will work with teachers and therapists to support pupils with reading and writing, helping break tasks into manageable steps while fostering a positive learning environment.

The role offers training in behaviour management and safeguarding, with term-time working and potential for permanent opportunities.

A secondary SEN school in Greenwich area are welcoming applications for their Secondary Teaching Assistant vacancy. This is a fantastic opportunity with a brilliantly well-run establishment, with lots of experienced staff to learn from.

As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you'll be working with children who require additional support with reading/writing and breaking down tasks to make them more manageable as well as some pastoral and behavioural duties.

What is required of you?

• You will require a DBS check (which we can support you with)
• You must not be barred from working with children
• You will have grades A -C in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
