Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable secondary teachers for supply roles across Cardiff’s secondary schools. Roles vary from day-to-day supply to longer-term placements, with responsibilities including delivering lessons in your subject area, managing classroom behaviour and supporting student learning.

Successful candidates will hold QTS (NQTs welcome), have a relevant subject specialism, and strong knowledge of the UK curriculum.

TeacherActive is currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable secondary teachers for supply opportunities across secondary schools in Cardiff. We work with a range of local schools requiring qualified teachers to deliver high-quality lessons and maintain a positive learning environment.

Opportunities are available across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, with roles ranging from day-to-day supply to longer-term placements. Depending on the assignment, the successful applicant will deliver lessons within their subject specialism, manage classroom behaviour and support students with their learning. Longer-term and permanent opportunities may also be available where suitable.

The successful Secondary Teacher will have:

• QTS (NQTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching within a UK secondary school
• Strong knowledge of the relevant curriculum
• A positive, adaptable and professional approach
