Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting a Secondary SEND Teacher to plan and deliver lessons tailored to pupils with diverse needs in a supportive learning environment. You will manage behaviours, promote inclusive practices, and work with the team to help students overcome barriers to learning.

The role emphasises safeguarding and a positive, patient approach, with ongoing CPD support and professional development provided by Protocol Education.

The Role:

As a Secondary SEND Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of each pupil, while creating a purposeful and supportive learning environment. You will work with students who present challenging behaviour, using a range of behaviour management strategies and interventions. Flexibility, creativity, and collaboration with the wider team are key to success in this role.

• Promote the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn and grow.
• Take an active role in promoting and safeguarding the welfare of students.

About You:

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a natural ability to problem-solve and manage/modify pupil behaviour effectively.
• Is organised, flexible, resilient, and physically fit.
• Has a down-to-earth sense of humour and a positive attitude towards the challenges of working with SEN students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
