Qualifications

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS/QTLS/PGCE/EYTS) or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a UK school.
  • Safeguarding training up to date (last year) preferred; training can be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress; adapt teaching strategies.
  • Create an inclusive learning environment and promote positive behaviours.

As a Secondary School Teacher, you will use your subject knowledge and teaching expertise to inspire, engage, and support students in achieving their full potential. Working within a supportive and inclusive school environment, you will deliver high-quality lessons, promote positive learning behaviours, and help students develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

Training and Qualifications
  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training for this can be provided)
To Be Eligible, You Must
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional, child-related references

The successful candidate will be required to register and have passed all safeguarding/vetting checks with Prospero Teaching in order to fill this vacancy. Any adult working with children and vulnerable young people are responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of the children and young people.
