Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Shrewsbury/Telford are seeking a Secondary Teaching Assistant / Cover Supervisor to support pupils across a range of local secondary schools. You will work day-to-day with flexibility to move into longer-term or permanent roles, providing in-class SEN support and supervising cover lessons.

Ideal candidates will have experience with young people, strong classroom management, and excellent communication.

• Experience working with young people, whether in school, youth, sport or care settings.
• Confidence in managing a classroom and engaging teenagers.
• Strong communication skills and a resilient, professional approach.

Teaching Personnel is recruiting Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors to work across a number of secondary schools in the Shrewsbury and Telford area. Work is available on a day-to-day basis, with opportunities to move into long-term and permanent roles.

The Role
