Teaching Personnel Ltd. is recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to support students in welcoming secondary schools across Telford. You will provide one-to-one and small group support for learners with ASC, ADHD, SEMH and other needs.

We welcome applicants with or without school experience; a patient, caring and resilient approach is essential. The role offers weekly pay, flexible full-time or part-time hours, and an education consultant to support you throughout placements.

Responsabilidades

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with ASC, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and other additional learning needs.
• Adapt activities to suit individual learning styles and abilities to access the curriculum.
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive engagement within the classroom.
• Assist students with communication, emotional regulation and social development throughout the school day.
• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Implement EHCP strategies where appropriate.
• Work with SENDCO and pastoral team to ensure pupils receive needed support.
• Build positive relationships with students and help them overcome barriers to learning.

Salary: £95.00–£110 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs? We're recruiting dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to work in welcoming secondary schools across Telford, supporting students to reach their full potential both academically and personally.

Whether you have previous school experience or have worked in care, youth work, support work or another SEND setting, we'd love to hear from you.

• Providing one-to-one and small group support for students with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and other additional learning needs.
• Supporting students in accessing the curriculum by adapting activities to suit individual learning styles and abilities.
• Encouraging independence, confidence and positive engagement within the classroom.
• Assisting students with communication, emotional regulation and social development throughout the school day.
• Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Implementing strategies outlined in Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) where appropriate.
• Working closely with the school's SENDCO, teachers and pastoral team to ensure every student receives the support they need.
• Building positive relationships with students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and celebrate their achievements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
