Supply Desk is seeking a passionate Science Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Berkhamsted. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential Key Stage 5 teaching, and help students develop a love of Science.

The ideal candidate will hold a Science degree and QTS (ECTs welcome), demonstrate strong classroom management and communication, and be committed to safeguarding and raising attainment.

The Role

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential Key Stage 5 teaching.
• Teach a broad Science curriculum, with opportunities to specialise in Biology, Chemistry or Physics depending on experience.
• Inspire students to develop a genuine passion for Science and an understanding of its importance in the wider world.
• Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development.
• Encourage scientific enquiry, critical thinking, problem-solving and practical skills.
• Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within a supportive and forward-thinking Science department.
