Teaching Personnel are recruiting Teaching Assistants to support a secondary school in the NG8 area, Nottingham. The role suits those with experience working with young people in schools, tutoring or youth work, and may suit graduates considering teacher training.

You will support classes during short-term absences, manage behaviour, and help across different subjects and year groups with clear communication.

Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• A calm and reliable approach.
• GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support on a 1:1 basis
