Job summary

Teaching Personnel in the NG8 area is seeking Teaching Assistants to support pupils across various subjects and year groups this academic year. The role suits those with experience working with young people in schools, tutoring, coaching, or youth work, and may appeal to graduates considering teacher training.

You will assist in classes during short-term staff absences, manage behaviour, and provide feedback to teachers.

Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• A calm and reliable approach.
• GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support on a 1:1 basis
