Job summary

Stafflex Education is seeking experienced Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Huddersfield and the surrounding areas for the 2026/27 academic year.

You'll supervise classes during teacher absences, deliver pre-prepared lesson plans, manage behaviour, keep students engaged and provide feedback to staff. The role offers flexible day-to-day and longer-term opportunities with competitive rates and weekly pay from an experienced local education team.

Qualifications

• Previous Cover Supervisor or secondary school experience.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Confidence across different subjects and year groups.
• Flexible, reliable and professional approach.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply.
