Job summary

The Supply Register is working in partnership with Birley Academy in Sheffield to recruit confident Cover Supervisors to support pupils and maintain high-quality learning during teacher absences.

You will supervise classes across secondary subjects, deliver pre-prepared materials, and uphold safeguarding policies while encouraging engagement and positive behaviour among students. Weekly PAYE payments and CPD opportunities provided by The Supply Register.

Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils.
• Ability to lead a classroom independently.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

The Supply Register is working in partnership with Birley Academy in Sheffield to recruit confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to support pupils and maintain high-quality learning during teacher absences.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Cover Supervisors, graduates, aspiring teachers and individuals with experience working with young people who are confident leading a classroom.
