We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work within secondary schools across Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced support staff, or individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience within education.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged and focused on the work that has been set.
Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects
Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Supervising students and maintaining a positive learning environment
Encouraging student participation and engagement
Supporting students to complete assigned tasks and activities
Recording attendance and reporting any concerns to teaching staff
Upholding safeguarding procedures and school expectations at all times
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence managing groups of students in a classroom environment
Excellent organisational and behaviour management skills
A professional, proactive and flexible approach
Experience working as a cover supervisor or TA.
