Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is partnering with a mainstream Secondary School in Wakefield to appoint a PE Teacher. The school offers a supportive learning environment where students build confidence, teamwork and enthusiasm for physical education.

The successful candidate will deliver PE across KS3 and KS4, providing day-to-day or long-term cover with engaging practical and theory-based lessons, and strong classroom and behaviour management.

Qualifications

• QTS with PE specialism (ECTs welcome)
• Experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Excellent communication skills
• Enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching

Responsibilities

• Deliver PE lessons across KS3/KS4
• Provide day-to-day or long-term cover as required
• Encourage student participation and develop confidence
• Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School in Wakefield who are looking to appoint a PE Teacher. The school provides a positive and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their confidence, teamwork and enthusiasm for physical education.

The school is looking for a PE Teacher to provide day-to-day or long-term cover across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful PE Teacher will deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons, encourage active participation and maintain strong classroom and behaviour management.

The successful PE Teacher will have:

• QTS with a PE specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching PE within a UK secondary school
• Experience teaching Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Excellent communication skills
• An enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching
