Job summary

TeacherActive's client in Sutton-in-Ashfield is seeking a qualified PE Teacher to join a secondary school. The role is long-term and part-time, four days per week, with an ASAP start.

Salary: £174 - £240 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Sutton-in-Ashfield that boasts a brilliant PE department with brand-new facilities. The school provides an excellent environment for delivering engaging physical education and encouraging students to participate and develop their skills.

The school is looking to take on a PE Teacher on a long-term, part-time basis, working four days per week with an ASAP start. The successful PE Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging PE lessons, managing practical activities safely and effectively, and supporting students to make progress within physical education.

The successful PE Teacher will have:

• QTS with a PE specialism
• Experience teaching PE within a secondary school
• Strong knowledge of the secondary PE curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• The ability to deliver safe and engaging practical lessons
• A positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach
