Job summary

First For Education is seeking a PE Teacher to provide cover at a secondary school in Kidderminster for the Autumn Term. The role is full-time and long-term, delivering PE across KS3 and KS4 with baseline safeguarding and pupil wellbeing obligations.

The successful candidate will deliver pre-planned lessons, adapt to different environments, manage pupil behaviour, and provide progress feedback while building strong relationships with staff and students.

Qualifications

• QTS required to teach PE across KS3 and KS4.
• Experience delivering PE to KS3/KS4.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

First for Education is seeking a PE Teacher to provide cover in a secondary school in Kidderminster, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. This is a full-time, long-term position for the remainder of the Autumn Term, delivering lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).

PE Teacher role requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Qualifed to teach PE
• Experience teaching across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through The Education Specialists

The successful PE Teacher will:
