Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Carmarthenshire is recruiting a Full-Time Learning Support Assistant for the 2026-2027 academic year to support pupils with additional learning needs. You will work from 08:20 to 15:30, Monday to Friday, term-time only, with a rate of £14.25 per hour, and join a supportive school focused on inclusion, wellbeing and pupil success.

The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, promoting independence, resilience and positive learning behaviours, within a caring team

• Ability to commit to the full academic year and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups.
• Encourage engagement and confidence in lessons.

• Assist with intervention programmes across the curriculum.
