Job summary

Bodringallt Primary School, Rhondda Cynon Taf, is seeking a Learning Support Assistant (centrally funded) to assist the class teacher with implementing individual programmes and supporting pupils in both the base and mainstream classes.

The successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team, commit to safeguarding responsibilities, and undertake appropriate specialist training in additional learning needs. Hours are 32.5 per week during term time.

Responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher in implementing individual programmes and support pupils both in the base and in mainstream classes.
• Be part of a team and be prepared to undertake specialist training in additional learning needs.
• Support the development of pupils’ needs in a school setting.
