Job summary

Reed is seeking passionate Secondary School Teachers to join our partner schools in East Sussex on a permanent, full-time basis. Start ASAP with opportunities to impact student growth and curriculum delivery across Key Stages 3–5.

Successful candidates will hold QTS or equivalent, have the right to work in the UK, and possess a degree in a relevant subject. Strong classroom management and knowledge of the UK curriculum are essential.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
• Maintain discipline through well-focused teaching and through positive and productive classroom management.
• Contribute to the development of the school curriculum and participate in curriculum activities.
• Provide feedback to parents and guardians on a pupil's progress at parents' evenings and other meetings.
• Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.
• Act as a mentor to students, providing support and guidance with their educational and personal development.
