Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a Secondary Cover Supervisor to lead classes across Key Stage 3 and 4 in multiple Sussex schools. This role requires no marking or planning and offers a 3:30 PM sign-off with consistent daily hours (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM).

Qualifications

Presence to command a room with enthusiasm and professional maturity.

Reliability with standard availability during school hours (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM).
Vetting: Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to apply for one.

Responsibilities

Lead classes across Key Stage 3 and 4 in the absence of the regular teacher.
Deliver pre-set work, answer pupil questions, and keep students focused on tasks.
Set the vibe by maintaining positive classroom behavior with clear boundaries and calm authority.
Hand back completed work and submit brief attendance notes before clocking out.
