Randstad Education is seeking a Secondary Cover Supervisor to lead classes across Key Stage 3 and 4 without the burden of marking or planning. You will support schools in Brighton, Hove, and coastal Sussex with a 3:30 PM sign-off.

This role offers guaranteed daily pay, no lesson prep, and a clear progression path toward Teacher Training or a PGCE, along with consistent local placements.

Qualifications

• Presence and ability to command a room with enthusiasm.
• Versatility across education, youth work, sports coaching, or performing arts.
• Reliability during school hours (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM).
• Vetting: Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply.

Responsabilités

• Lead the room by overseeing classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Guide learning by delivering pre-set work and answering pupil questions.
• Maintain a positive classroom vibe with clear boundaries and calm authority.
• Submit attendance notes and hand back completed work at the end of the day.
