Job summary

Washwood Heath Multi Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to supervise pupils during teacher absences and deliver pre-prepared work. You will take charge of groups, keep students on task, and support learning across KS3–KS5 while liaising with staff and pastoral teams.

The ideal candidate will have Secondary School experience, strong behavior management, and good literacy and numeracy skills. GCSEs in Math and English at grade C/4 or above are required.

Qualifications

• GCSE Math and English at grade C/4 or above.
• Experience working in a Secondary School.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to supervise KS3–KS5 and deliver pre-prepared work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during short-term absences and KS3–KS5 classes.
• Deliver pre-prepared work as set by the teacher.
• Form tutor duties or pastoral team responsibilities.
• Liaise with teaching staff about work set and return of completed work.
• Support faculties and departments as required.
