Qualifications

• Confident understanding of working with young people and child development.
• Strong classroom management and behaviour principles.
• Experience with secondary school students.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of school behaviour, attendance and equal opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Cover a variety of classes, subjects and year groups across the school.
• Manage the behaviour of students in the classroom in accordance with school policy.
• Lead the class with cover work provided by the teacher.
• Support learning and contribute to a positive classroom environment.
