Job summary

Keep Education is seeking confident Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Harpenden during teacher absences. You will deliver pre-set plans, supervise classes, and keep students on task in a safe learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people (e.g. schools, coaching, youth work)

Responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers
• Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students remain on task
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Provide support to students where necessary
• Report back to teaching staff on lesson progress and behaviour
• Ensure a safe and productive learning environment
• Follow all safeguarding procedures at all times
