Teaching personnel are currently working with several secondary schools based in Stoke-on-Trent looking for part-time Cover Supervisors. The schools are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic and passionate about the academic and social development of young students. This role is perfect for aspiring teachers/graduates looking to gain experience within a mainstream secondary school.
The role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher. All work will be pre-prepared by the school so you will be required to maintain a positive learning environment ensuring all the set work is completed. You must be able to confidently manage behaviour and always adhere to the school’s behaviour policies.
What we’re looking for:
To be considered for this role, all applicants must have an enhanced child DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one upon registering with Teaching Personnel.
