Krome Technologies Ltd. is seeking a Second Line IT Support Engineer to join our 24x7 team at the head office in Chertsey. This on-site role supports client networks, hardware and software, and requires strong English communication and a proactive problem-solving approach.

We offer a basic salary between £30,000 and £40,000, plus a £4,000 shift allowance. Rotating four-day/night blocks, with 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am shifts, and travel to London and other client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in a similar IT support role.
• Knowledge of Microsoft software and infrastructure tech including Windows, Office 365, Exchange, Teams Telephony.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V) and networking basics (TCP/IP).
• Able to install/decommission hardware.
• Excellent spoken and written English; strong communication.
• UK driving license desirable.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems escalated from first line.
• Investigate security alerts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage IT infrastructure and keep it up to date.
• Maintain knowledge base and documentation.
• Follow SLAs and track ticket-resolution metrics.
