Job summary

Krome Technologies in Chertsey, Surrey is seeking a Second Line IT Support Engineer to join our 24x7 technical support team. You will resolve escalated issues and work across the Microsoft stack, virtualization, networking, and security technologies.

We offer a full-time position with shift patterns (4 days on/4 days off; day and night blocks) and opportunities to pursue professional qualifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, VMware or Palo Alto certifications, plus a rich benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with the Microsoft stack: Windows Server 2016+ and related technologies.
• Strong networking troubleshooting and IT infrastructure knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting hardware or software problems escalated from 1st line.
• Investigating security alerts.
• Collaborating with internal teams to manage IT infrastructure and keep it up to date.
• Maintaining knowledge base and contributing to process/technical documentation.
• Following SLAs and tracking ticket resolution metrics.
