Job summary

Runwood Homes Limited is seeking a Second Chef to join our Hospitality team to deliver hotel and restaurant standard meals for residents without split shifts.

You will support the Head Chef, ensure high quality meals, and meet residents' dietary needs while upholding food safety standards in a caring environment. The role offers opportunities for progression and professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a catering environment and ability to follow menus.
• Understanding of dietary requirements and portion control.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present meals to high standards for residents.
• Follow menus and company meal requirements.
• Comply with Food Safety and Hygiene regulations.
• Ensure meals are presented well and taste great.
• Monitor portions and minimize food waste.
• Meet dietary requirements using charts or recipes.
• Maintain safe, healthy kitchen and proper food storage.
• Deputise for Head Chef when required.
